with my eyes open or closed
in the dark
and where do I go
when I reach the landing?
do I go downstairs
do I go into the spare room?
at the top of the stairs
is the bathroom door
will I wash my face
should I have a shower?
in the dark
every single night
I memorised this room
I turned off the light
and I walked around this room
if I do it right
I can reach the door
without bumping into the furniture
in the dark
